DEFINITIONS

GDPR: Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data.

Service: www.diet-food.pl, managed by the Administrator.

User: any natural person visiting the Service or using its services or functionalities.

DATA PROCESSING IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OF THE SERVICE

The Administrator collects data necessary to provide services and information about User activity on the Service.

PURPOSES AND LEGAL BASES OF DATA PROCESSING

Using the Service

  • Provision of electronic services – legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (necessary for the performance of a contract).
  • Analysis and statistics – legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest of the Administrator).
  • Establishing, asserting, or defending against claims – legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Contact Forms

Data provided in forms (name, surname, email) is required to handle inquiries. Other data is voluntary.

  • Identification of the sender and handling of inquiries – Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
  • Analysis and statistics of inquiries – Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Newsletter

Providing an email address is required to send the newsletter. Data is processed for:

  • Providing the newsletter service – Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
  • Sending marketing content within the newsletter – Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, including profiling.
  • Analytical and statistical purposes – Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
  • Establishing, asserting, or defending against claims – Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

COOKIE POLICY

Cookies are text files installed on the User’s device containing, among others, the domain name, storage time, and a unique number. They are used to:

  • Adapt the Service content to the User’s preferences.
  • Create statistics and improve the Service.
  • Maintain the user session after login.
  • Provide advertising content tailored to the User’s interests.

“Service” Cookies

  • User input cookies – data entered by the User during the session.
  • Authentication cookies – authentication during the session.
  • User-centric security cookies – security and abuse detection.
  • Multimedia player session cookies – session cookies from multimedia players.
  • User interface customization cookies – interface personalization.

Data is processed for the duration of service provision, order fulfillment, withdrawal of consent, or objection submission. Data may be stored longer in cases such as:

After the period expires, data is deleted or anonymized.

DATA RECIPIENTS

Data may be disclosed to external entities: IT system providers, banks, payment operators, accounting, legal, marketing firms, and affiliated entities. Data may also be shared with other entities for marketing purposes with the User’s consent.

TRANSFER OF DATA OUTSIDE THE EEA

  • Only to countries with an EU Commission decision or using standard contractual clauses approved by the EU Commission.
  • Use of binding corporate rules approved by the supervisory authority.

The Administrator informs about the transfer of data outside the EEA at the time of collection.

SECURITY OF PERSONAL DATA

Data is processed securely, only authorized persons have access, and all operations are recorded.
